Jetmir Mehmedi was born in Kichevo (Macedonia) in 1990.
He finished elementary education at the primary school "Sande Sterioski" and completed his secondary education at the state high school "Mirko Mileski" -Kicevo.
His first steps with music began with his uncle Agim Mehmedi and his son Valon Mehmedi, who was his first guitar teacher.
He enrolled at the "St. Cyril and Methodius-Skopje" at the Academy of Music, Vocal Instrumental Department, with a specialization in the instrument "Classical Guitar" in the class of Prof. Darko Bageski. Where he finished his studies in 2015.
He is currently enrolled in postgraduate studies at the University "HasanPristina-Pristina" (Kosovo) in the class of prof. Djevdet Sahatdjija.
He participated in many festivals for classical guitar like: LI GI TA (Liechtenstein) 2012, Guitar Art (Belgrade / Serbia) 2010/2011, Zagreb guitar fest-ZGF (Zagreb / Croatia) 2016, Tremolo (Skopje Macedonia) / 16, Peja International guitar fest (Pec / Kosovo) 2016, Kjustendil Guitar fest (Kyustendil / Bulgaria)
He has won numerous awards in competitions in Macedonia and abroad as competitions for solo guitar also in chamber compositions as First place in the Kyustendil guitar festival in 2014, second place in Ars Kosova 2010 and third place in Tremolo-guitar fest and many others.
He held master classes with many famous classical guitar teachers such as: Anielo Desiderio (Italy), Petrit Ceku (Kosovo / Croatia), Gabriel Bianco (France), Anders Miolin (Switzerland), Gianpaolo Bandini (Italy), Luis Zamora (Mexico) , Zoran Krajisnik (Serbia), Zoran Anic (Serbia), Admir Dochi (Albania), Dzevdet Sahatzjaja (Kosovo / Croatia), Ehad Musa (Kosovo / France) Yetmir Mehmedi also participated in summer and winter academies such as: Subotica guitar week 2016 (Serbia) with Mentor Prof. Zoran Anic, European Summer Academy 2012 (Kosovo) with mentor. Prof. Djevdet Sahatdjija and PORECKI TIRANDO 2016 (Croatia) with mentor prof. Djevdet Sahatdjija. He held solo concerts (Recitals for classical guitar) in Macedonia as well as outside of the country: Switzerland, Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania and Bulgaria. He also performed in many chamber ensembles such as Duo, Trio, Quartets with ensembles and chamber orchestras, he was active with the Guitar Orchestra at "FMU-Macedonia" with conductor Prof. Darko Bageski, Guitarist Orchestra "PORECKI TIRANDO (Croatia)" with conductor with the Chamber Orchestra "Youth Chamber Orchestra" (Tetovo) with which he performed the famous concert for Guitar and Orchestra from MCTedesco in D-dir with conductor Agona Cupi, "EUROPEAN SUOMER MUSIC ACADEMY-ESMA" Orchestra with conductor Desar Sulejmani etc. He is currently a professor of guitar at the music school TODOR SKALOVSKI-Tetoec.
